Sunday Celebration Services

 

Our Sunday Celebration services are creatively diverse, musically jubilant, and wholly spirit-filled! In addition to motivational services led by our Community Spiritual Leader and licensed Practitioners, we also draw from a pool of local talent as well as internationally renowned guest speakers.

It is our intention that everyone who is touched by the vibration of Awakened Heart is inspired to cultivate an ever-expanding heart of love, practice compassion and loving kindness.  Come join us and be inspired!

SUNDAY SCHEDULE:

10:00 AM – 10:15 AM – Centering Meditation lead by the Practitioner on duty
10:30 AM – Celebration Service, followed by fellowship and refreshments
10:30 AM – Children/Youth Services
12:00 PM – Second Sunday of the month: The Healing Connection

Kidz Program

Imagine if you knew then what you know now!  

AHSC Kidz programs run concurrently with our Sunday services (10:30 to 11:30am). 

The Youth Ministry of Awakened Heart Spiritual Center provides an environment that promotes our young people's spiritual growth, physical and emotional health, and positive self-esteem based on the practical application of New Thought/Ancient Wisdom teachings and Science of Mind Principles.  We teach self-love, self-awareness, Oneness with all Life, and how our thoughts and choices impact our experiences.

The curriculum for our youth program is innovative and transformational rather than instructional. Lessons are interesting, age-appropriate, and creative. Each week, your child will have an opportunity to explore deep questions and learn principles that they can take with them to improve their daily lives.

We have 2 groups: toddlers to age 6, and ages 7 to pre-teens. Teenagers tend to get a lot out of our regular Sunday services because we have awesome music and a universal message, although they're also welcome to assist with the Kidz!

Regardless of age, each group meditates for a few minutes, ponders thought-provoking questions, has an activity, craft, or experiential exercise to help drive home the message, and they all have a lot of fun!

The second Sunday of the month is movie Sunday where the kids watch a movie supporting the Core Concept for the month. 

A couple of times a year, we also have Family Movie night where a full length film is shown, complete with popcorn, pizza, pillows, and pajamas.

Our Spiritual Leader

Rev. Anna Marie Trotman

Rev. Anna Marie Trotman is committed to the spiritual evolution of humanity. Her mission is to “enrich as many lives as possible by supporting all individuals who are on their spiritual path.”

She began her spiritual journey in 1987 by taking classes in New Thought at Pacific Church of Religious Science, in San Diego, CA under the direction of Rev. Kathy Hearn.

Rev. Anna Marie is currently on the faculty of Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development in Silver Spring, MD founded by Rev. Iyanla Vanzant. It is her heartfelt intention to continue on her own spiritual journey, express her many talents, inspire the community and grow Awakened Heart Spiritual Center. She is available for Counseling, Life Coaching, Wedding and Commitment Ceremonies, Baptisms and Naming Ceremonies, and Memorial Services.
